Is there really no failsafe in the event of the RX becoming disconnected or detached in flight? This thread says that receiver failure is likely caused by power failure and the craft is crashing anyway, so this sort of failsafe is not needed.
Clearly my recent experience suggests that receiver failure failsafe is very much needed.
