I am working with a research project where we are trying to measure the wind speed using a drone both in and out of a wind tunnel. Therefore, I need flight telemetry such as pitch, yaw, roll, x-acceleration, y-acceleration, z-acceleration and motor thrust/rpm. But also a very stable platform (accurate positioning) with and without GPS (some sort of visual positioning system?).
From my knowledge, all the off the shelf (DJI, Parrot, etc…) drones now either encrypt the telemetry data or do not provide a method to obtain the motor thrust/rpm.
Therefore I ask the knowledgeable people on this forum:
Is there an off the shelf or Ardupilot/pixhawk complete drone kit which is stable both with and without GPS alongside the ability to obtain full flight telemetry at a reasonable acquisition rate?
