Hi all!
I'm new in drone developing and I've started to test my assembled drone with a random opensource flight control firmware that I've found on google. Results are good, I can fly it and control it, but it's not like I want. It drifts a lot in idle position, after a movement it drifts and if I "touch" it, it drifts even more and crash on walls. Of course it should be tuned, but as I see on some videos it's not very stable anyway.
What I'm looking for is a very stable opensource algorithm(possibly with a community) that I can use, study and develope.
My reference of what I would obtain is this two videos of Spider drone from Parrot:
That's incredible if compared to my drone stability. But of course their firmware is not opensource.
Someone can advice me something like this?
P.s. I've read about Ardupilot it's for UAV, but I don't know if it also provides flight algorithms, also my drone is small as Spider(about 7-10cm) so maybe bigger drones FW may result instable on such small drones.
